Clubs and committees

Every kind of motor vehicle club keeps members, renewals and vehicles, and every committee shares the work differently. Find your club type or your role.

By type of club

What is specific to running each kind of club, including its place in the Conditional Registration Scheme.

By committee role

The jobs each committee member actually does, and where MemberCrew takes the load.

Built around the committee

Most club paperwork is done by a handful of volunteers, and MemberCrew is written for them. The secretary, the registrar and the treasurer work from one shared membership list instead of separate spreadsheets, and each sees only what their role allows. When the committee changes at the AGM, the records, the history and the activity log stay with the club, not with the person stepping down.

Common questions

What kinds of clubs is MemberCrew for?

Motor vehicle clubs: car and motorcycle clubs, marque and model clubs, historic vehicle clubs, street rod clubs, and clubs for left-hand drive and individually constructed vehicles. Anything with members, renewals and vehicles to keep track of.

Is it only for clubs on the Conditional Registration Scheme?

No. The Scheme features matter most to South Australian clubs whose members use conditional registration, but renewals, invoices, payments, vehicles, events and reports work for any motor vehicle club, including members whose vehicles are fully registered.

Does it suit a small club?

Yes. The smallest band is $150 a month for up to 100 current members, with every feature included. In a small club one or two people may do all the paperwork, and that is when one shared record helps most.

Does it suit a large club?

Yes. Bands go up to 1,000 current members at $550 a month, and larger clubs are quoted. Roles let a bigger committee share the work, with each person seeing only what their job needs.

Which committee members use MemberCrew?

The secretary, the registrar and the treasurer do most of the work in it, and the president can keep an eye on the club’s numbers. Other helpers, such as an events editor, can be given a role that shows only what they need.

Is MemberCrew only for South Australia?

It is built for South Australian clubs first, because that is where the Conditional Registration Scheme applies. Clubs elsewhere are welcome to talk to us about the rest of MemberCrew.
